Breast augmentation is a personal decision rooted in how you want to feel in your body. For many women, it is about restoring balance, improving proportion, and feeling confident in their appearance without looking overdone. At Rose Cosmetic Surgery in Corpus Christi, every breast augmentation is designed to enhance your natural figure while preserving what makes you uniquely you.
Why Women Choose Breast Augmentation in Corpus Christi
Women consider breast augmentation for many reasons. Life changes such as pregnancy, weight loss, and aging can affect breast volume and shape. Others have always wanted fuller or more balanced proportions.
Common goals include:
- Restoring lost volume
- Improving breast symmetry
- Enhancing body proportions
- Feeling more confident in clothing and swimwear
For many women in Corpus Christi, breast augmentation is not about dramatic change. It is about feeling like themselves again.
Dr. Rose’s Approach to Breast Augmentation
Dr. Keith Rose has performed more than 2,500 surgeries worldwide. As a cosmetic surgeon in Corpus Christi, he understands that breast augmentation is not simply about increasing size. It is about restoring balance and helping women feel confident in their bodies.
While the primary goal of breast augmentation is to enhance volume, Dr. Rose performs the procedure in a way that also improves breast shape and proportion. His approach focuses on results that complement your natural frame and align with your personal goals. Every breast augmentation is customized to achieve results that look natural and feel right for you.
Implant Types for Breast Augmentation: Which is the Best for Me?
Silicone Breast Implants
Silicone implants come in a wide range of shapes and sizes to complement existing breast tissue and create stunning, natural-looking results. Silicone gel is similar to the texture and density of natural breast tissue, so it feels soft and pliable, moving with your body. The consistency helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles or ripples, and silicone implants weigh less than saline implants, reducing the risk of downward displacement. Because they are pre-filled, a larger incision is required for placement, but it can be hidden within the breast crease. Silicone implants are FDA approved for patients age 22+.
Saline Breast Implants
Saline implants are made of a shell that is filled with sterile salt water after it is inserted into the breast pocket. This provides some flexibility to adjust the volume and refine the size of the implant to improve balance and symmetry between the breasts. Saline implants are firmer, and rounder than silicone implants which can create a fuller appearance, and they are not as pliable as silicone implants. A smaller incision is used because the shell is not pre-filled. Saline implants are FDA approved for patients age 18+.
Breast Augmentation with Fat Transfer
A natural option for enhancing the size of the breasts is by transferring fat from other areas of the body to the breasts. Liposuction is used to harvest fat cells and tissue from the abdomen, thighs, flanks, or arms, slimming these areas and in turn adding up to one cup size of additional volume to the breasts. They look, feel, and move very naturally, and there is virtually no visible scarring. However, major fluctuations in weight can change the appearance of the breasts, and over time, the body may reabsorb some of the fat.

What to expect:
- Performed under general anesthesia or conscious sedation
- Incisions planned based on your anatomy and desired outcome

- Procedure typically lasts 1 to 2 hours
Surgery Length = 1-2 hours
Less Than 1 Week – Back to Work
3 Weeks – Resume Moderate Exercise Activity
6 Weeks – Resume Heavy Exercise Activity
3. Recovery and Support
Recovery is gradual, and support continues well after surgery. After surgery, a compression bra or bandages will be applied to support the implants, improve circulation, and reduce swelling. Pain relievers can be used to minimize any discomfort. Many women return to work and resume normal activities within a week, but strenuous activity and heavy lifting will be limited for about six weeks. Following Dr. Rose’s post-operative guidance helps support a smooth recovery and well-healed results.
Breast Augmentation Results
Breast augmentation results are designed to enhance your natural figure, not overpower it. Patients often report feeling more confident, comfortable in clothing, and aligned with how they see themselves. Results are long-lasting and tailored to your body, helping you maintain a balanced and proportional appearance.
